Users willing to hop on the Sprint’s unlimited data plan with Windows Phone 8 devices would be happy to learn that the after having announced the release of Windows Phone last year, the mobile operator has made things even more interesting by launching a landing page for Windows Phone 8 on its website.

After beating around the bush for nearly four months, it’s the first official confirmation from the carrier’s end regarding the release of such devices but it’s yet to be known which WP8 devices would actually make their way to Sprint this summer.

Any major player in the WP8 industry, including Nokia with its Lumia lineup, HTC 8X or Samsung’s Ativ S lineup could be made part of the mobile operator. We’ll be keeping a lookout for any details pointing towards the specifics of WP8 devices launching on Sprint this summer.
