The much awaited Sony Xperia Tablet Z is now available for pre-orders in the US through Sony’s website. For those of you who wants to know, the tablet comes in two models: 16gb and 32gb. The 16gb model is priced at $499 and the 32Gb is available for $599. The devices are expected to ship by 24th May according to the company.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z is supposed to be the thinnest and lightest tablet available in the market weighing just 495g, according to Sony. The tablet features 10.1-inch reality display with 8.1MP Camera, 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2.2MP secondary camera, memory card support of up to 64gb, 2GB Ram, water and dust resistant, running Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean (planned to upgrade to 4.2 soon).

If you purchase the tablet between now and May 24, the device will come with a charging cradle that is priced at $44.95.
