Last month, we reported regarding a possible launch of Hulu Plus on Windows Phone 8 (WP8) platform and it looks like today is that lucky day! The official app for the popular video on-demand (VOD) service has finally become available for WP8 users, and you can get your hands on it via Microsoft’s Marketplace.

As we had previously speculated, the pricing for the app is quite similar to that of Android and iOS. Hulu is available as a free download but it will feature the unlimited streaming and Live Tile support across WiFi, 3G and 4G networks, for a semi-ad subscription for $7.99 a month.

Hulu had been available for iOS and Android and a multitude of devices ranging from gaming consoles to handheld devices for quite some time now. The popular VOD made its debut on Windows 8 platform six months ago. With the inclusion of Hulu Plus on WP8, the users continue to get more comfortable as the mobile platform continues its streak of getting high profile apps on its side. Let’s see if Hulu gets a bump in its current 4 million subscribers. Would you be watching your favorite TV shows on your WP8 device via Hulu Plus?
