We’ve been hearing about the Galaxy Tab 3 (8.0) for some time now and we had expected for it to launch last month, but instead Samsung unexpectedly  announced the 7-inch variant of Galaxy Tab 3 and ever since then the trail of the 8-incher has gone cold. However, today it seems like the rumor-mill of Tab 3 (8.0) is back on its wheels as an alleged image of tablet has been leaked along with its specs, thanks to the most trusted source for leaks related to Samsung products, Sammobile.

As you can see from the image above, it’s hard to say if it’s really the 8-inch model, it seems a bit bigger than 7” model but the most noticeable difference are the thinner bezels, which resembles Galaxy S4’s design language.

Whereas the specs are concerned, they’re almost the same we’d seen before in its leaked AnTuTu results. The 8”model will supposedly come with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor (possible 4412 Exynos), 16GB of on-board storage (expandable up to 64GB), 5-megapixles rear and 1.3-megapixel cameras, Bluetooth 4.0, 4,450mAh battery (as opposed to previously reported 4500mAh) and will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The device will be available in two versions, WiFi and 3G and will quite expectedly hit at the end of June. Bear in mind that all the information we have shared are based on rumors and even though it seems like this is what the upcoming 8”model will carry, don’t bet on these specs yet to be final for the device. Are the rumored specs enough for you to consider buying it when it comes out in the open?
