We got our hands on the Galaxy Mega 6.3 smartphone last month, and back then Samsung had said for this jumbo-sized device along with a 5.8-inch version of Galaxy Mega to hit Europe and Russia in May. However it looks like prospective buyers might have to wait for a bit longer as word on the street is that Mega-sized Galaxy devices may have been delayed by over a month.

A UK based retailer that goes by the name, Carphone Warehouse, has listed it as “coming soon”, with an expected availability date in July, as you can see in the screenshot below. Whereas the US release date is concerned, despite two FCC filings of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, there is no official news of a U.S. release yet.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a 6.3-inch LCD display with 720p resolution, a 1.7 GHz dual-core CPU, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8-16 GB of storage space, expandable microSD slot, 8 megapixel rear camera, a 1.9 front one, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the TouchWiz interface. Whereas its not so smaller brother, Galaxy Mega 5.8, has a 5.8 inch display with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and the rest specs are in line with Galaxy Mega 6.3.

Both of the smartphones were supposed to get available by mid-May, and with more than half of the month already gone, it’s quite a no-brainer to deduce that the jumbo-sized devices will reach prospective buyers at least after a month or two. Are you looking forward to buy any of these devices?
