The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has proven to be a very popular device in many European countries, but it seems like US consumers would have to a bit longer than some other regions to get their hands on the tablet.

The Xperia Tablet Z was initially supposed to be pushed out by 25th of May, and now Sony has delayed the launch once again as it’s now listing the shipping date of May 29 with a price-tag of $499.99 at the official Sony website. While Amazon is listing it as “Temporarily out of stock” and B&H claiming it will arrive on the 4th of June. To further support the new release date of the tablet, retailer Newegg has also put up a date of May 29.

With its beautiful design, unique features like water and dust resistance capabilities  and other specs including prominent features like expandable storage upto 64GB via microSD, 8.1-megapixel rear camera, 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor,  it’s quite likely for the 10” Xperia tablet to gain some serious footings in the US region upon its release.

Well it looks like we’ll know for sure whether or not the tablet becomes available in the coming days. In the meantime, have a look at our extensive review on Xperia Tablet Z.
