Samsung is yet to unveil its rugged Galaxy S4 version but thanks to the famous leakster @evleaks, the first press image of the Galaxy S4 Active complete with AT&T branding has hit the web, which strikingly looks familiar to its previously leaked photos.

As you can see from the picture, in addition to the AT&T logo present on the back of the device there’s Galaxy S4 Active product name as well, a detail that wasn’t available on that previously leaked red version of the handset. Overall, the design pretty much coincides with the leaked red version of the device with its physical buttons on the top and metallic casing with bolts on the back.

Up till now, Galaxy S4 Active is rumored to pack in the same goodies that comes with the US variant of Galaxy S4, like the 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 16GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, LTE, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz on top etc. The only difference lies with the addition of Waterproof capability and 8-megapixel camera (instead of 13MP in Galaxy S4).

Until now, there’s no word regarding the price-tag or when it gets released by AT&T. However, the device is expected to become official at the Samsung Premiere event on June 20. Are you looking forward to the release of Galaxy S4 Active?
